Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out this year on 15 December and we can hesitate to smile about that. It follows after the Star Wars: Force Awakens (2015) and it is highly anticipated. Though all is well with the favorite movie of many, Star Wars star Carrie Fisher might be exiting the movies. “The Last Jedi” installment looks like the end point of her iconic role as Princess Leia.
As reported by Oscar Isaac (pilot Poe Dameron), Carrie Fisher is going to appear in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but as a hard general. He revealed the intensity of some scenes in the movie that will be pretty cool for the fans to watch. He also had to reveal about the wonderful moments and experience he had with the late while filming for the movie last year.
Her appearance in Star Wars movies has a big recognition since she was one of the leading characters. Rian Johnson, director and writer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, revealed that the film was inspired by Twelve O’clock High (1949), The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), and Letter Never Sent (1960).
The Star Wars franchise has run for decades and this upcoming new epic space opera, the film will mark the 40th anniversary. The movie was first intended to be a May release (26 2017), but due to unavoidable circumstances, the release was pushed to 15 December 2017. Actors, like Bill Dee Williams, will reprise their roles alongside Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Billie Lourd, Adam Driver John Boyega, and rumored Tom Hardy. The film will continue from where the 2015’s Force Awakens stopped.
