From Insurgent to The Book of Henry, actress Naomi Watts knows how to deal with different roles. The star appears in The Book of Henry a movie directed by Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World 2015) and written by Gregg Hurwitz (Careful What You Wish For). The combination of talented individuals brings you the story of a single mother, Susan Carpenter (Naomi Watts) who works tirelessly to look after his sons. Things get another turn when her son (Henry) befriends his classmate Christina, but there is a dark world behind the faces. They keep a dangerous secret that Henry gets to know about and due to his personality; he is moved to draw a plan to help the friend out.
The film also stars Jacob Tremblay, Lee Pace, Jaeden Lieberher, Dean Norris, and Maddie Ziegler. Jacob Tremblay is continuing to take the Hollywood lights for himself ever since he starred in “Room” (2015) for which he received outstanding credits for his role. This is going to be the second time Naomi Watts stars alongside Jacob Tremblay after “Shut In” 2016. He is also making another appearance in Wonder (2017) expected to be a boom. This is going to be Maddie Ziegler’s big screen debut.
The Book of Henry is co-produced and financed by Double Nickel Entertainment and Kimmel Entertainment. Colin Trevorrow had to be contacted to direct The Book of Henry after Jurassic World. Hurwitz had written the first draft of the screenplay by 1998. Colin Trevorrow and Hurwitz are believed to have a strong work connection that is interesting.
The movie hits the theaters on 16 June 2017 after Focus Features rescheduled the release date from 16 September 2017
