She grew up with a different kind of life since she was diagnosed with a heart disease in her childhood. Totally off the platform of the world, Amelie spends most of her time alone because her mother died in a fatal car accident when she was only eight years old. She hardly spent time with her father also due to the fact that he could cause her heart to skip.
Later on in life, she grows into a beautiful young lady who helps those around her and wants to make life different for others. She also gets to know that life is really short and anyone can use each day to make a difference. This happens after the death of Princess Diana in a car accident in 1997. As she works at a small café, she takes an opportunity to help those who come, especially the sick. Audrey Tautou stars as Amelie and the film also stars Jamel Debbouze, Rufus, Serge Merlin, and Yolande Moreau. Amelie was released on 8 February 2001.
